How it works

Sixteen coins. Fifteen picks. A new Sweet 16 tips off every 30 minutes on Robinhood Chain: eight memecoins against eight tokenized stocks in a single-elimination bracket, four rounds of five minutes. Fill your bracket before tip-off. The best brackets split the pot. A perfect bracket takes the jackpot.

Enter before tip-off

10,000 $SWEET16 per bracket, up to ten per wallet. 5% is burned on every entry.

Five minutes a round. A coin advances when it moves more than the one across from it. Points double every round.

The rules

CadenceA Sweet 16 tips off at every UTC :00 and :30. Four rounds of five minutes back to back, so it ends 20 minutes after tip-off. The lobby for the next one opens the moment the current one tips off and closes at its own tip-off.
LineupEight memecoins and eight official tokenized stocks, ranked by 24 hour volume at lobby open into seeds M1 to M8 and S1 to S8. Meme seed g plays stock seed 9 minus g in the first round, so every Sweet 16 game is a meme against a stock.
A gameThe winner is the coin with the greater percentage move in USD price over the round window: the last price sample at or before the round start against the last one at or before the round end. An exact tie goes to the top slot.
PricesDexScreener, highest liquidity pair per token, sampled every 5 seconds by the keeper. GeckoTerminal is the fallback. Every sample used to settle a Sweet 16 is published on its page and its hash is posted on chain as priceRoot before anything is paid.
Your bracketFifteen picks, one per game. A pick is scored on team identity, so a coin you sent to the final that lost in round one is wrong in every later round too. Points: 1 / 2 / 4 / 8 per correct pick by round. Maximum 32.
Entry10,000 $SWEET16 per bracket, snapshotted when the lobby opens. Up to 10 brackets per wallet per Sweet 16, up to 5,000 in total. The full fee sits in escrow in the contract until settlement.
TiebreakerYour predicted total move of your champion over the whole tournament, in percent. Closest to the real number wins ties on points; the earlier entry wins if that ties too.

Percent of the 90% prize pool. One entry alone gets the whole pool back minus the 10% split. Perfect brackets split the entire jackpot equally on top of their rank payout.

The jackpot

3% of every entry accrues to a jackpot that only a perfect bracket (15 of 15, 32 points) can win. It rolls over until someone hits it, and anyone can add to it with seedJackpot. If several brackets are perfect in the same Sweet 16 they split it equally.

What the owner cannot do

the trust model, verbatim from the spec
Cannot
Withdraw escrow, pool or jackpot. Change a tournament's fee after it opened. Post results for a tournament that has not finished. Stop settlement, cancellation, refunds or claims.
Can
Pause new tournaments and new entries, set the fee for future tournaments, rotate the keeper and the treasury address, and set the token address exactly once.
The keeper
The keeper is the price oracle. Every sample it uses is published and hashed on chain before payouts. Settlement is permissionless: anyone can call score and finalize once results are posted.

Questions

What if two coins move exactly the same?

An exact tie in the round move goes to the top slot of the game, the same rule the contract applies.

Stocks do not trade at night and on weekends. What happens?

The tokenized stocks trade on chain 24/7 on Robinhood Chain, so they have a price at every sample. Off hours they move less than the memes, which is part of the game. Seeds are set by on chain volume, not by the stock exchange.

What if the keeper is late or goes down?

Results can only be posted after the final round, and if none are posted within 3 hours of tip-off anyone can cancel the Sweet 16. A cancelled Sweet 16 refunds 100% of every entry through refund, no owner action needed.

Can I enter the same bracket ten times?

Yes. Up to ten brackets per wallet per Sweet 16, identical or different, in one approval and one transaction.

When do I get paid?

At finalize, a few seconds after The Ship ends. Payouts are pushed to the winning wallets. If a push ever fails the amount is credited to a claimable balance you can pull from My brackets.

Where does the price come from?

DexScreener, chain Robinhood Chain, the highest liquidity pair for each token, sampled every 5 seconds. GeckoTerminal is the fallback. Every Sweet 16 page shows the samples that settled it and the priceRoot hash on chain.

Is this a house game?

No. The prize pool is only ever other entries. The protocol never takes the other side of a pick and there is no withdraw function for escrow, pool or jackpot.
